The newest addition to our locating toolbox is also the newest technology in the locating industry. This handheld unit can accurately locate buried plastic, metal, clay, concrete, everything!

And we mean everything. This machine can detect all types of pipes and cables: metallic, plastic, fiber-optic with or without tracer wire, storm sewers, drains, pipes and rebar in concrete, culverts, tanks, drums, buried foundations, septic tanks and drain field pipes ... even wood, clay, and bones.

This technology – in testing for the last three years – is brand new and has just been released to the locating community. In fact, these units are so new, we have the only one we know of east of the Mississippi River.

One of our most popular services is clearing test boring sites – ensuring that bore targets don't overlap anything hidden underground. We make thousands of bore sites safer every year!

We can also find breaks in wires and cables using a fault locator. Knowing where the break is saves having to replace the whole wire or cable.

We have been having great success in locating small-diameter plastic propane and natural gas lines with Ground-Penetrating Radar. Tricky to find using conventional electronic locating techniques, these narrow pipes show up beautifully on the GPR screen.
