These utility plans as you can see have very good information. For us its great, but for a contractor, all it says is there are utilities in the ground, but where? We all know that plans are not always accurate, that's why we take the time to look at these plans and confirm whether or not the utilities are there or if there are other obstacles in the way. Our GPR is great for doing this because it could see what our electronic locator can't, like large diameter pipes. The job always goes along smoothly when utilities are marked accurately.
