Glen Speaks at MUST Seminars

Several Excavation Safety Seminars were held across Maine this April, from Presque Isle to Saco, and Glen was one of the speakers. The seminars were conducted by MUST (Managing Underground Safety Training): a group of utilities, contractors, utility commissions and other organizations working together to make dig sites safer and more efficient.

The idea behind the seminars was to bring together everyone involved with underground utilities, in order to discuss their roles and responsibilities regarding underground utilities. Representatives from Dig Safe, the Maine Public Utilities Commission and several companies spoke about their experiences working with underground utilities, and their processes for dealing with them.

One point that several of the speakers stressed was the importance of having accurate information on the type and location of utilties in and around any excavation site. We couldn't agree more!
